The Italian American Museum of Washington DC hosted A Night at the Museum, an evening dedicated to introducing local university students who are members of their school's Italian club, to the museum and its themes: Italian immigration to the capital and the Italian influence on the federal city.
The evening brought together the leadership of Italian clubs at Georgetown University, George Washington University, American University, and Catholic University. Students exchanged plans and strategies about their college Italian programs, and their best practices in managing the Italian clubs.
Interns from Italy who were concluding their term at the Italian Embassy also attended.
The evening was organized by Derek Ginoris (top photo, at left), a law student at George Washington University, a graduate of Georgetown University and a past recipient of an IAMDC Legacy Research grant, and by Loredana Messa (top photo, center), a freshman at American University.
